Treatment of de Quervain's Tenosynovitis with Prolotherapy: A Case Report

Introduction: De Quervain's tenosynovitis is a disease with pain in the styloid process area due to chronic inflammation of tendons covering abductor pollicis longus and extensor brevis muscles at level distal radius. This study aims describe treatment de prolotherapy.
 Case presentation: A woman, 49 years old, working as cleaning service, came hospital complaints her right thumb wrist. Pain has been felt since 1.5 ago, especially when using hand moving thumb. The getting worse last 4 months sometimes swollen red near Physical examination showed nodules measuring 2x1 cm radial region, positive tenderness, Allen test, active passive movement digit 1, rotation adduction inhibition, wrist extension digitorum positive, flexion Finkelstein test. patient was diagnosed dextra. Prolotherapy carried out management this patient.
 Conclusion: Treatment injection prolotherapy patients mixture D40% solution lidocaine good prognosis for symptom improvement relatively minimal complications.
